Demographic Studies
This annual report is the most in-depth analysis our staff produces. The study will encompass many aspects important to your development, including state and local economic activity, historical enrollment trends, and any residential developments that will impact you in the future. We compile all of this information into easy-to-read graphs and summaries. Using this data, our staff provides you with 10-year enrollment projections for the total district by grade and campus, as well as campus-by-campus grade level projections. Valuable reports customized for your district are included in the study.
facility planning
Zonda Education will evaluate options for future school sites. We review current school locations, current students and future student locations based upon future housing data by using ArcGIS tools. With the combination of enrollment projections data and G.I.S. software to build 5 or 10-year facility plans. Focus is on when and where to build schools or how to re-purpose schools.
School year reporting
Zonda Education will provide you with annual, semi-annual or quarterly updates of new home construction and future developments in your district. Each report includes housing research and data, enrollment projections, economy updates and an extensive look into the ever changing details of your district. Becoming a retainer client in one of the categories above keeps you ahead of the planning and on target for your future goals. Our consultants will review and present the reports as needed to board members, leadership teams as well as any specific meeting needs you may have.
Build-Out Study
Zonda Education has created a unique Build-Out Analysis Tool that allows the district to see the impact of future development. Witnessing the projected density of growth in the district is vital for potential school site planning.
Boundary Planning
Zonda Education will assist your team in the planning of new attendance zones in order to open new schools, balance enrollments, locate special populations, locate programs and can include changing grade configurations. Our consultants can attend public hearings and work sessions through the completion of the boundary development process. ZE uses Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping software in order to make changes in attendance zones and provide real-time updates on enrollment impacts during these public meetings. After approvals are confirmed new boundary maps are created.
